Review: Pond's Age Miracle Wrinkle Corrector (Day Cream)

Before actually reviewing this Pond's Age Miracle Wrinkle Corrector (Day Cream), I have already consumed 10g prior. It exceeded my expectations as to why I'm sharing my experience to you about how amazing this product is.

On the left, a new container (full). On the right, empty container (consumed).

Basically, this will just be a short review about what it did to my skin and how it was able to work on me.

Let’s start!

What I love about this product:
  • It’s really cheap, 10g would be at Php99.00 (Full size of 50g is at Php725.00)
  • It has an SPF18
  • It’s light on the skin
  • It has a smooth, matte finish
  • It smells nice
What I don’t like about this product:
  • It has a shimmery glitter-like effect on your face (if applied alone/no make up to cover it)
Effectiveness
So how did it really work on me?

Well, just like any girl, of course I start by cleansing my face. But since this is a day cream, I usually apply it after I take a bath in the morning. I apply it first before any other cream/lotion-type base beauty product (after toner and stuff) just to make sure it will take effect and be absorbed by my skin firsthand.

Take note, I saw results as early as 3-5 days by taking it religiously. I usually apply the cream on my Forehead, Frown Lines, Eye Area, Crow’s Feet, and Vertical Lip Lines. (Please refer to the photo for guide)

The parts that it’s most effective are on the Forehead, Frown Lines, and Eye Area. I can’t really tell on the Vertical Lip Lines since I don’t really have lines there yet (I don’t plan to have it so prevention is better than cure. LOL).

I have a normal skin but I still have breakouts from time to time (it’s in our genes). With regards to that, I don’t think it gave me pimples/acne at all since it feels mild, really light on the skin but has a potent anti-aging ingredients.

If you’re going to try this product, make sure you don’t stay out in the sun too much. Well, it’s never a good a idea to have too much sun exposure anyway. Make sure to apply sunscreen before leaving the house. It's one of the most essential items you should already have by now.

Packaging

The packaging is quite alright and the product is boxed to make sure the container is safe for anyone to open. The 10g variant is a little bit larger than a Php5.00 coin but it's enough for a month of use for me. For the labels on the box, mostly written on Thai and English.

It basically contains information about the technology, directions/warning, ingredients, manufacturer, and consumer hotline. Typical info you would see on a product packaging.

My Experience
Overall, I love the product and will continue to use it. Also, please do remember that this product might not be effective on you but it is on me. We do have different skin types and sensitivities. Kindly consult a dermatologist if you had any rashes or whatsoever after applying the product.

As for the before and after photo, I wasn't really able to take a snap for you to see. However, there's no harm in trying a Php99.00 (10g) variant for you to see. Honestly, I'm like anybody else (or some) trying out products they see in a drugstore. And since I saw results, I bought another 10g. I might buy the 50g when I have enough money already because as you can see, it doesn't have a student-friendly price. LOL.

Hit me up if you have questions! Thanks for taking time to read! :*
